low grade in calculus! will this hurt my chances?

i love math, but this year has been quite a struggle with calc. i got a 92 my first semester but now i have an 88... if i end up with an 88 as my final grade in the class (im a junior) do you think this will hurt my chances of getting into an ivy? i understand calc, but here are my two problems:

1)my teacher's daughter is in my class (not calc class but class overall) shes in ap bc and im in honors. she's making the honors class harder so that her daughter pulls ahead of everyone else (she's neck and neck for number one).. and no my teacher even said she was going to make honors harder.. i don't know why

2) i have just been diagnosed with an eye problem (not sight, but tracking/focusing) and now have to learn a new method of learning to strengthen my eyes. i don't catch as many things now in class and am not as "quick" when it comes to comprehending new concepts because im teaching myself a new learning style to strengthen my eyes. like it has to get worse to get better

do you think colleges will understand this or do you think that they will think that i cannot handle the work?

No, it will not hurt you. Your grades and rank will still be strong and your courses are rigorous. Your AP score should also reflect your true understanding, regardless of course difficulty, so they won’t think you didn’t understand Calc.

There are a lot of factors to get accepted to an elite college. Grades are just one small portion. Your application will be viewed holistically; one little B isn’t going to make them question your ability as a student.
