So, I'm a high school Junior, and my transcript as of right now has 17 A's, 2 B's (B+ and B), and one C- (in Algebra II Honors, Sophomore Year) - see, the thing is, I did horribly in that one class but I have excelled in every other class...

...so that leaves me with about a 3.75 GPA unweighted, however, I was wondering if colleges would see the C- and disregard me altogether. If it helps, I'm currently enrolled in Pre-Cal Honors and I'm doing quite well and I'll be taking AP Calculus over the summer. (I thought that perhaps this would be a positive upward trend that could offset my poor performance in Algebra II)...

I doubt that there is a school that will flat out reject you because of the C, though it could lower your chances if the other more academic portions of your application are also flawed (such as scores and rank).

I’m not all that concerned about my SAT scores (I have yet to take them but with practice tests and preparation, I anticipate a 2050+) and I am ranked in the top 3% of my class.

I feel you, preamble. I’ve done a similar thing where I messed up on one term and I got a very bad GPA (I’m just gonna say it’s bellow 3…) However, I just want you to know that I don’t think that single grade will change people’s impressions that you are a hard worker.
