Okay so..I have horrible grades..I know what you're thinking...2.8 gpa..or whatever..hah

My GPA is currently ~2.3 at a D2 college in OK...high school stats were not good either, a 2.8 gpa and a 19 ACT? 880 SAT..I graduated in '05...anyways... is it possible for me to transfer to ..well..anywhere? ( I should be going another semester to the same school..should be able to get at least a 3.5gpa this time before I get deployed...if I get deployed)

Schools I want to consider:?
Auburn
U. of Alaska-anchorage
Mizzo State
U. of Miz( Any of them )
Texas Tech
And I guess Kansas State...

I think I'll get butchered for this...worth a shot though, right?

Well, I would recommend studying for and retaking the ACT as a better score will help you and you can send in only that score, therefore nullifying the effect of your previous score of 19.

I'm not particularly familiar with any of those schools, but I'd be glad to try and help:

Auburn - minimum GPA of 2.5, 60% acceptance rate
UAlasksa - minimum GPA of 2.0, 68% acceptance rate
Mizz State - minimum GPA of 2.0, 82% acceptance rate
U of Miz (Columbia) - minimum GPA of 2.0, 90% acceptance rate
Texas Tech - minimum GPA of 2.3, 72% acceptance rate
Kansas State - minimum GPA of 2.0, 73% acceptance rate

Believe it or not, your chances are pretty good at most of those. You should be in at KS, UMiz, MizzState, and UAlaska. As of now, don't bother with Auburn or Tech (OOS) unless you raise your GPA.
