I really want to go to Arizona State. My first choice.

thanks

oh wow i really don’t know but a 1. something gpa doesn’t look great… i mean that’s D-average but i don’t wanna predict your chances because i might be wrong.

shoot for it man

I personally think as long as your essays/recs were really good, you have a decent shot. If you don’t get in, its not the end of things. Theres always JC.
Don’t sweat it. Good luck!

how did u get a 1.

An upward grade trend is the best trend here, but still… your chances are mediocre at best. Have you looked at any local colleges in Alaska, or perhaps any of the ones frequented by Sarah Palin?

i got a 1.8 because had some personal problems.

and no, im not going to a community college or an Alaska University.
I need to get out of Alaska, ive lived here my whole life. im ready to go.
Also, ive been at a boarding school for 3 years too. Would that make any diffrence?

So more chances?

i dont know how the SAT works, but if you get a 24 on the ACT your in

What ive been told is its pretty easy to get into

I live in Arizona. You have to be damn near ■■■■■■■■ not to get in. No joke, I think it’s kinda funny that you’re concerned because from my viewpoint you’re automatically in with that SAT and above a 2.0. I think you’ll really appreciate the weather here, but for the love of God, make sure you get a plane ticket home for the summers. Regardless, there’s a chance I could be wrong, but I sincerely doubt it. Best of luck, see you next year perhaps. (You’re lucky that your top choice has an acceptance rate above 90% :))

LeavingAlaska, ASU has very clear admissions criteria. You must meet only one of four criteria. Please check out their website and make sure you have the required amount of courses. You can apply as early as July for Fall 2010, and will get your admissions decision by September. Good luck.

Thanks for help guys. A1389 made the most sense and was the most helpful. I got accept today to ASU. Cha-Ching.
