Vanderbilt (for Economics)- low reach
Emory- high match
NYU Stern- not sure (match?)
UCLA (for Economics)- reach (they care about gpa more than test scores)
University of Denver- safety
University of Colorado Leeds (Safety)

Thanks! More opinions welcome!

Right now the only thing holding you back is your GPA. I know Vanderbilt and NYU Stern have rely heavily on GPA (Vanderbilt accepted undergrad applicants had an average GPA of 3.9 something, and I believe Stern looked mainly at applicants with a 3.75+); however, your ECs could make up for this.
Vanderbilt (for Economics) - Low reach
Emory - Match
NYU Stern - mid-reach
UCLA (for Economics) - low to mid reach. I’m not 100% sure on this one. They rely heavily on GPA, have a lot of applicants each year, and OOS applicants have a harder time getting in).
University of Denver - Match
University of Colorado Leeds (Safety) -Match

What I would do, which is what I’m doing, is just apply to another school at NYU and then try to transfer to Stern later on. Good luck on your applications, and remember to apply to each school regardless of what people on here say.

Chance me back, please.

I understand your school “doesn’t rank” but most of these colleges kind of know approximately where your gpa puts you. I’m sure you have some approximation too. So fess up. Is this top 25 percent (at public hs here it would be)? Top 50? What? Once you give that info chancing you will be much eaier.

Honestly, they dont tell us. My group of friends is not what one would consider “the smart kids”, so its hard to put it into perspective. I would say around 20%, but its a guess.

I’d like to add USC (California) to the list. Also, if you are knowledgable about AFROTC, What are my chances of receiving a Type 2 scholarship?
