it's a 3.81 but i submitted additional information talking about my health condition that affected me my junior year. i'm just afraid that this number will cause the admissions officer to neglect the rest of my application. if it makes it any better, i'm EDing for nursing??

Nursing is easier to get into than any other school and 3.81 might not be that bad if your weighted is higher. And obviously they can be more forgiving with a health issue.

I think it’ll depend on your Test Scores, ECs, and Essays.

my weighted is a 4.26 and i took the most rigorous course load in the history of my school, i’m also afraid that since it was a drop in junior grades, they won’t think that i’m able to handle the pressure

LOL i already turned in my app, i’m just worrying right now. sigh it’s a whole month of worrying

bump bumpppppp

A 3.81 is not a low GPA.

it’s pretty low compared to other applicants and people who are accepted ):

If they released median GPAs instead of averages, that would be a more realistic measure IMO. A 3.81 means what, a B of some kind thrown in there? Really, don’t fret too much about that in particular. If you had a valid excuse for your grades that you think are low, then there isn’t too much to be concerned about. I don’t remember exactly but my GPA was around yours when I applied. Really, don’t worry about it lol. There is nothing to do about it now, even if it was a low GPA, which it is not.

thank you for the feedback minikitty! and i totally agree with idea of releasing the median gpa since it would be a lot higher than the average.
