are my sat horrible? should i study hard during summer and retake? given these sats what colleges do i have a shot at?

SATs aren’t horrible, but if you’re looking for top tier schools, an SAT prep course and a retake would be necessary.

SAT’s need serious work for true top tier schools, ~2200 I’d say. If you could manage to write an essay that discussed how you overcame socioeconomic hardships to achieve success in your school, that would be really good. It would also help for some more info. What is your class rank? How competitive is your school? I think if you work hard and create the right image for yourself you can make Berkeley.
