I know that the UCs look at your two highest test scores.. but what if your other scores were really bad? They will still see it so will it in some way affect admissions? Thing is, my highest scores were 740 / 690 (US/Bio), but my other scores were low (in the low 500s.. took them sophomore year just for fun..) and I just took Math IIC for Dec., and I think I bombed it so I'm thinking on canceling it if low scores really do affect.

I'm hearing different things so please help me clarify!

For schools that use that formula like UCSD it doesnt seem like it would matter because they dont really go beyond what is involved in the formula

just top two....Berkeley and UCLA focus a lot more on intangibles and essays, whereas the other UC's are more formula-driven, the formula being based only on two.

bumping for ckyo because i just failed my physics but i already have 3 scores over 700, i only took physics because i applied for engineering and i didnt have a science and on some of the uc sites they say they "recommend" science for engineering majors.
