Hi,
I got a 690 on the math section of the SAT, but I just got back my SAT II mathiiC and I got an 800. Will that make schools view my 690 less harshly? Or will they place more weight on the 690 over the 800? Ok thanks.

I have just the opposite. I had an 800 on the Sat1 and a 690 on the SAT 2. I hope im no screwed for engineering. I kind of expected a higher score since it tests how prepared you are for high level math courses and so far I have taken Calc2, Multivariable, and have had all A's. Next year Im taking linear algebra. Who do you think is in a better position me or estrella

SAT II Math L2 is way easier to get an 800 in than SAT I Math. You can get 44/50 raw score for SAT II Math L2 and get an 800, but you must get all questions right on the SAT I Math to get an 800. There is tougher material on the SAT II Math L2, but more room for error. It's more common to see someone in estrella's position.
