low sat scores for berkeley??

<p>It says on collegeboard.com that berkeley has scores from 580-710. Doesn't that seem a little low?? I heard a lot about the competitive admissions process at berkeley, but the sat scores don't seem to correlate</p>

<p>the vast majority of the admits get higher scores. what you listed is only the approximate RANGE of the scores. sometimes they'll let in someone with mediocre scores who has something "else" that made their app attractive. </p>
