Low SAT Subject Test Scores

Hi all. As I am trying to understand my college list, I am realizing my subject tests may not be good enough. I have been debating my scores for a very long time because I’ve been seeing so many things in regards to what is good enough and if something will bring my application down or not. The top school I am applying to recommends taking subject tests but states that they will not negatively affect my application.
What scares me especially is the fact that my score is the 48th percentile score.
(FYI: My intended major for most schools is Biology)
SAT Bio E: 760/800 ~ 91st percentile
SAT Math II: 710/800 ~ 48th percentile

Thanks for your help.

What schools are you applying to?

We don’t have the full picture of your academic and test record, but the bio score is likely fine for any school, while sending a 710 in MathII depends more on your list of schools.

Your bio score is fine for any college. Based on your other posts, your 710 is problematic for Penn, but what is more problematic are your SAT/ACT scores for both UCLA and Penn, particularly based upon your HS. If your summer retakes on SAT/ACT improve, then you should probably consider retaking M2 in the Fall. In any event, make sure you are applying to some matches and safeties.
