But the major problem is my SAT score....
They really s***...

Will Gettysbury Reject me because of my SAT score...

I dont know why i couldnt score good in SAT. :(

Internat'l meaning you had to take the TOEFL? That can offset a low SAT verbal. Gettysburg's 25th%ile is around 600 on math and verbal. If you're at least there you're in the ballgame. Have you applied to any schools, some very good, where the SAT is not required?

how did you get national merit then? I'm guessing it's different -- not associated with the PSAT?
did u take TOEFL? If it's just reading you did bad on, that may be forgiveable. you never said what your actual score was...

Gettysburg is SAT optional; you don't need to submit your SAT scores if you don't want to. If English is a second language for you and its your CR scores are low, with higher Math, the adcom will certainly be able figure out the context for your scores.

I don't know. I think they want them if English is not your first language:

Students who wish to be considered for an academic merit scholarship are required to submit either the SAT or ACT scores. Homeschooled applicants, as well as international students for whom English is not the first language, are strongly encouraged to submit standardized test scores along with the application.

I gave Toefl iBT and got just 99.
U'll laugh at it. I am sure.
CR: 520, M:620 and 9 on essay.

Its hopeless. I dont know.I am totally not good at this...

ANd National merit was Awarded when I completed Class 10. Many People here dont know what is SAT. Only those Who are applying to colleges in US know about it.
Only colleges in US require SAT.(I think so)
to be frank with you all I didnot know about SAT until I passes Class 12.

Isnt that pathetic?

Well that may be the reason why i am not good at it.

Anyways... Should I apply or not??
what do you say???

Can't hurt to apply. You have nothing to lose really. What's the worst that can happen? My son has applied. He has CR 590, Math 680 and Writing 600 but I am sure his grades are lower than yours.
