Low senior year GPA?

<p>One of my teachers hates me and I missed a class for doctor's appointment. She gave me an absolutely impossible make-up test which became the first test I literally failed. I will get my first B ever in that class :/. I had close to 4.0 sophomore and junior year. I will probably get 3.8 first semester of the senior year (3.75 is LOWEST POSSIBLE, 90% chance of 3.8), will this significantly affect my chances at the ivies? I'm really hating my life right now D:</p>

<p>Please tell me, I'm afraid the colleges will look at me as a lazy slacker :/</p>

<p>Short answer: No, a B won’t stop you from getting into the ivys. Take a deep breath and relax. Not all ivy matriculants have 4.0s.</p>
