low stats & EA

I'm applying EA, but I'm getting really concerned over my stats/scores. Maybe because there are so many perfect stats on these boards...

GPA: 3.9
RANK: 10/413
SAT I: 2120 - 740v 680m 700w
SAT II: 760 - Math2, 660 - USH (awful... retaking?), Lit in October
AP: USH (3), Govt (3), CalcAB (3) - I was really surprised w/ USH and Govt, and some kids at my school said their student score reports had errors on them...? Like the teacher/counselor reports had their scores higher than their student score reports had listed. So those might be wrong, I'm not really sure.

I'm realllly low-income/have some personal hardships.
But I don't know how much that will help me.

Looking at these stats (particularly test scores) alone, do I have a really poor/nonexistant chance for acceptance EA?

I'll still apply, I'm just worried about where I stand...

Where are your extracurriculars and leadership?

I just wanted opinions on these stats/scores.

lol we can't evaluate you until you give us the whole picture... Adcoms don't look at numbers alone, so neither can we.

agreed,.....

No you're not getting my point.
I'm saying - will these scores ruin me? EC'S OR NOT

Your stats won't ruin your EA application. However, keep in mind that most EA applicants are deferred.Very few applicants are rejected. Those probably are people who are obviously clear rejects -- people with, for instance extremely low SAT scores such as 450, 450, 450 or people who haven't taken a college prep curriculum.

About 1/3 of EA applicants are accepted. Consequently, apply EA if you want to, but don't count on an acceptance or rejection. Expect to remain in Harvard limbo for several months after the EA decision.

I also suggest that you use College Confidential's search function to look at the stats on posters who were accepted/rejected/deferred last year. That also will help you figure out your chances.

Got it right here for you

Hm. That helps. thanks!

It looks like there were like 1 or 2 who were except with lower than 1450 SATs... one was a URM... one had donating parents...

is low-income a URM? well, i guess that's been quite a debated-over topic...

I suppose after seeing many 1500-somethings deferred/rejected, scores either don't matter as much as I'm thinking OR you just have to be perfect? I hope its the former...

nah you won't get in with those scores unless you got some crazy EC's.

Well there were indeed a couple of perfects...not surprised that they got in
