Low test scores accidentally sent

My student accidentally submitted her ACT score from last July (after Sophomore year). The score was atrocious. She has since submitted her much higher SAT score from May. Never took another ACT because of how bad she did. What can she do? Will this hurt her chances? She’s not auto admit.

A&M doesn’t superscore, but I believe they do allow score choice. Just have her call admissions and let them know she accidentally submitted a sophomore score and wants her SAT to be considered.

Not sure how but they claim low scores won’t put you at a disadvantage.

Not in the FAQs but on the main page they say * Your highest total score from a single test date will be considered for admission.

That tells me your low score will be discarded.
