Low UW GPA High W GPA

So I just calculated me GPA again, after my unruly English teacher gave me a C on an essay (preposterous!). I went online where my school has a "GPA Form," filled everything out and got 3.52 UW and 4.43 W.
How will colleges see this? I've never taken a normal course. All my courses are either Honors or AP. For example, this year's courseload is:
Advanced Topics in Physics (Equivalent of AP Physics C) - B
AP Calculus BC - B
AP Statistics - A
AP Government - A
AP French - A
English 12 Honors - B (GAH!)
I should probably also explain that I was in India for the first two years of my high school and it was difficult adjusting to the environment here. I believe that my Guidance Counselor will address this in her recommendation. I know my teachers have already addressed this in their recommendations and I plan on writing a lengthy (yet plausible) reason I should not be compared on the same playing ground as other applicants in the Common App additional information section.
Assume all my other stats are ivy-league caliber (because they are.)
I see as I write this thread that it is quickly emulating a chance thread so I shall stop here.
ALSO
I forgot to ask (and I know this has been addressed many times but I want a definite answer), does Cornell CALS EDI see your first quarter grades? Our grades are finalized on November 17th which is more than two weeks passed when everything should be in. Or do they just see what classes I've taken?
Merci beaucoup.

Because weighting systems vary so drastically by school, colleges rely on unweighted GPA. They will, however, consider it in the context of your course rigor.

I’m in a similar situation as the OP:
I have a 3.67 UW GPA, but a 4.87 Weighted GPA. Despite the low GPA, I am ranked 1st in my class of around 300. How do you think colleges would view this?

bump bump
unfortunately I’m not 1st in class :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m probably in the top 10-20% but my school has a strict policy of not letting out any rankings whatsever.

Colleges are able to use the data provided by the HS to infer the rankings. Colleges will also see that you did OK in your classes which were very challenging…

Colleges would realize how rigorous your school is. Your rank is the most important way for colleges to guage your GPA in context.

^Thanks. That’s good to hear.
