<p>I'm going to be a Junior this year and I'm going to have to change my major. I was a business major but my gpa isn't good enough for the business program. I love history, I got an A in US History Pre-Colonial Period to Civil War and a B in US History Reconstruction to Today.</p>

<p>I love American history but will still have to take World History courses obviously. What would be more interesting to someone who is has a preference for American History and a man of the highway; World Civilizations courses or History of Western Civilization courses? Need to take a pair of those courses, I just don't know which ones.</p>

<p>If you’re interested in US History, you’ll need to know where the founders got their ideas. History of Western Civ. will give you a very brief introduction to “how we got here”.</p>

<p>There is generally two western civ classes. One that ends at the renaissance and one that begins there. Take both of those.</p>
