As a transfer student (I'm applying this fall) and a psych major I will be missing to of my lower division classes. Psych 1 (only offered at UCR) and psych 12 (my cc has no articulated course for it), I will have to take psych 1 in the fall, and psych 12 the next quarter since psych 1 is a prereq for psych 12.

All other prereqs will be complete.

Does this mean I can not take any other classes until those 2 are complete?

It depends on Psych requirements. Most Humanities majors require a number of electives, and you might be able to fill your schedule with electives that don’t require prereqs until you complete the classes you’re missing.

I’d check out the Psych major requirements here: <a href=“The Office of the Registrar | UC Riverside”>The Office of the Registrar | UC Riverside; and chat with a transfer admissions counselor to make sure you’re not missing any requirements to be eligible for admission. Make an appointment here: http://trc.ucr.edu/Pages/make_an_appointment.aspx

Best of luck with your application!
