Just out of curiosity, let see who has had the lowest GPA and/or SAT scores but yet got in to UCLA within the past two years.</p>

<p>3.5 unweighted, 1850ish SAT, 690 + 700 SAT II's, decent personal statements, practically no extracurriculars but 200 hours of volunteer service (did 10 in reality, put 200 on the app)</p>
<p>accepted to:</p>
<p>UCLA Electrical Engineering</p>
<p>i know a transfer that got in with a 3.2 in philosophy. but the scale is lower for transfers anyway without weighted grades.</p>

<p>actually "mariopuzo" i did not receive my accepted or rejected letter yet. i'm doing it just for the heck of it.</p>
<p>lol. mariopuzo posted that, ekn just responded to his post. and eh, we know you haven't heard your decision yet. he was just saying that people start flocking to the boards out of nowhere and constantly ask about GPAs to see how they compare so they can gauge their own chances. whether or not this is what you were doing is irrelevant, it was just funny.</p>

<p>hahaha i went to monta vista too, and it's ridiculous how uptight everyone there gets over admissions. come to ucla, you'll learn there's life beyond the stress of school.</p>

<p>I think I've seen a lone 2.x get in. It depends if you count athletes or not.</p>
