Lowest accepted gpa for a unhooked applicant to a top 20/ivy?

Title holds the question

Unhooked is way up there, though the actual gpa is not relevant as much as class percentile. At rigorous schools with the reputations known, I’ve seen kids with 3.5 averages in the 2nd quintile get into schools. I personally know an unhooked 3.0 unw get into Cornell from a known prep school.

Depends on the school, but from the average, public high school they’re expecting 3.85+, preferably a 3.9+.

The average GPA of accepted students can be found online for most colleges. I would certainly not expect to get into a college where you are below the 25%.

Google common data set + name of college and you’ll get an idea.

US College Admissions are holistic, there is no definitive answer. To get the closest answer, do what the poster above me said and look up the CDS. Keep in mind the people with the lowest GPAs at competitive universities are either athletes, or came from a very intense high school.
