Lowest Ranked School You Can Go to to do consulting

What is the lowest ranking b-school you can go to so that you can still get a decent job in consulting? I'm not necessarily asking to get recruited by McKinsey or w/e, but can you still get about 80k starting with oppurtunities to make around 150k (inc bonus) after 3-4 years without having to go to a T10 school?

thanks

a school which isn't top 10 ugrad business?
go to villanova.

what? I was asking what is the lowest possible school you can go to, but still do well in consulting. The reason I ask is because I might be able to do T25-T30, but the T10 schools are schools I might not be cut out for, and it isnt reasonable to assume you will get into a school like that (but that doesn't mean you dont try), which is why I'm asking if you can still make a resonable career in consulting even if you dont get into HWS etc.

Are you talking about graduate school?

look at villanova's career placement website.

Consulting bonuses aren't that high. You most likely will not be making $150,000 in compensation as a first-year.

he said after 3-4 years

Oh, ic. I just read the part about 80k starting and 150k with bonus. But that will still be post-MBA. From a top 25-30, it's definitely possible to do consulting, just not necessarily M/B/B.

Good business schools in large cities are preferable.

Fordham (only ranked 38th) still gets good placements because of its NYC location. A school like Bentley (42nd) does okay because it is right outside of Boston. Georgetown gets good placements in Washington, D.C. So does Villanova (close to Philadelphia). For a school far from a major city, Virginia and Indiana do well--but then they rank about 8th and 11th nationally.

P.S. Consulting doesn't start at 80K unless you already have a MBA degree.
