I studied at least 30 hours (not continuous) hours for my AP European history midterm. and I thought I knew the material well. However, the midterm tests are really hard because the questions are pulled from a variety of sources, not just my specific textbook's. The average grade on the test was a D+/C- but I got a C+... What was the lowest class average for any of your tests, or are you the people that get 95s on every single test?

Our lowest class average was a calc quiz, and the average was 13/25. I got a 3/25 lmao.

I’m sure there have been lower, but on one of the quizzes last year in Earth Science the average was 71.
This year in my French class, we had a pop quiz that EVERYBODY failed (like…some people got 5/100 lol). I don’t know the average, but I got the highest F in the class of 60/100! go me lol

It is not unusual for an average on a calc test to be 30-40% in my class. Quizzes in that class are even worse. There have been quizzes where the average is around 1/10 or 2/10. However, the impossible tests do work (~90-95% get fives on the AP test).

I averaged a 68 on three straight US History tests and finished last year’s last quarter with an 85. I cba to care though, stressing out over grades is a bit lame.

oh, for my latin class it’s brutal…I would say about 6 people (in the honors section) get an average of 90% and the other 20 people (regular) have an average of 50%…specifically, one test, nobody in the regular class got over 70, and some got 5, 7, 10…it was pretty horrific. They had to get other teachers in to see if my teacher was being excessively draconian

Last year, on a two-day Advanced Math semester test, the other class’ curve was 24 wrong. My class’, on the other hand, was 6 wrong. I set the curve, so it wasn’t bad for me. The other people in my class didn’t like me to much, though.

^Ha, I’ve been in that situation before…

Art final last year that no one took seriously…curve was 14 points, which is super high for my school.

This is years ago, but in 6th grade, one science test was killer. I got the highest grade in the class with a 60. My average for the quarter was still a 98, though.

I just got my math final grade, and I got a 76. That is the worst grade I have ever gotten on a serious test or assignment (not a quiz, or random hw). Oh, well, I still got an A in the class!

Well last year in Alg 2 I got one of the highest grades and that was a C-.
This year in Chem I, the class average was a 60. I got an A+ tho. (and the average still sucked :S)
There were a few geometry tests that most people failed last year, (I didn’t talk to some of the freshman so I don’t know what they got) so that average probably wasn’t too spectacular.

Ooo. and the highest grade on our English Final 1st semester (before extra credit was added) was an 83.

Our AP Physics class average hovers around a C- or so. There is no curve, and tests are 50-75% of our grades.

There has been much grumbling, from myself included.

Our APUSH final average was 43/100. The only time I was ever happy with a 72 :)

Newtonian Mechanics.

The average score on any given test would hover around 50%. And the pass rate is about 30%.

16/100 on a calc test…I have no idea how…

Lowest test score got dropped at the end of the semester though, so I got lucky :D

66% Math midterm. Whoo!

I’ve definitely gotten lower but that grade sticks out like a sore thumb for me because it ruined my math average completely.

bombed a spanish test: 0%! im serious because i forgot the adjective in every choice, and the draconian teacher took full points off of that. On top of that, she announced that i received a 0 and no one should make that stupid mistake again, which realli p***ed me off.

She sed she only announces top grades. BS…

54% geometry final today…good thing the curve is monstrous (14%)

I once got a negative score on the multiple choice section of a physics test… it was graded AP style where 1/4 pt. is taken off for every wrong answer.
My score was -1.7, I think.
Ha ha ha.

The class average for our final exam for AP European History was a 79. I think only two people made higher than a C (me being one of them).

For my Honors e-Commerce final exam, the highest grade was a 69. We ended up getting a 20 points curve on it; so my grade was a 87 on it. Haha.

This year, in Calculus, our tests are ridiculously hard. The class averages are always in the 70s.

I think the average mark in my IB Physics HL class is hovering around a 50%. It’s brutal, but when scaled in accordance with IB guidelines it’s not bad.
