annnnnyttthinggg would be wonderful

I’ll chance back!

Id say solid chance with the act score. can you give more detail about your extracurricular stuff?

I’m president of a fund that I started to raise money for underfunded cancer research (about 6,000 dollars raised) , I play varsity softball, two clubs, jv field hockey.

buuummpppppp

in that case id say very good shot

ACTs are in the range
pioneering into new ideas (cancer research) +
varsity sports+
leadership+

only thing thats holding u back is gpa but thats ok because you have legacy to push u past that.

I know they sent out acceptance letters today and yesterday and I have yet to get anything, hence the last minute freak out session.

Well, I don’t know they sent them out but a couple people on here have gotten them so I am assuming.

You’re a shoe-in.

You should be fine, scores are in their range, you have legacy, and your ECs, especially the cancer fund, are solid enough. GPA isn’t amazing, but it shouldn’t kill your decision. I know someone whose letter from his first-choice school was delayed in the mail, he was a nervous wreck, but then happier than ever once he got in. Good luck!

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/621725-took-risk-blew-any-hope-left.html

xSteven, why do you say that?

They have a high admit rate (68%+), your ECs are GREAT, your test scores are just fine, your GPA is just a bit low–it’s still a B average. There’s no reason to decline you unless you wrote “I hate Loyola College in Maryland” in your conclusive essay statement.

I’m just worried about how some have gotten their acceptances already, should I be?

No. I applied to Towson around the same time as my friend with SATs about 550 below mine and she got her letter before me (still haven’t gotten it…), so it’s normal, I suppose.

Alright, well hopefully I get in. Just got accepted to Quinnipiac today, so if all else fails going there won’t be too horrible.

Any other inputs?

Also, if no more on Loyola Maryland, anyone know anything about Stonehill College? What do you think my chances would be there? The forum for that schools is practically dead, so I figured I’d try here.

annnnnythinggg on either schools?

buuuummmppp bummp bump circa b2k
