Anyone else get Waitlisted? What’s the historic likelihood of admission after being on the Waitlist?

Thanks!

for those waitlisted – i understand we won’t hear back until mid-May.

Yeah, agree that waitlist shall move after May 1st. My D22 was accepted, while waiting for other decisions from UCs and other colleges, same like everyone else.
What other options you’re considering?

Have admitted folks under RD received merit scholarship offers yet, or do they know when to expect possible offers?

My son is considering the University of Oregon, Gonzaga, and Santa Clara University. Being waitlisted by LMU was disappointing to him, but he’s grateful to have these other great schools to choose from.

Good for him! Congratulations for all others and upcoming acceptances. Hey please tell me why your son prefers LMU, other than the nice weather in California

Hello everyone, need a favour here :raised_hands:t2: Please tell me why you’d prefer LMU, other than the lovely weather
[ reason: my D keeps telling LMU is a good school. However, i can see she’s not too excited about the acceptance. So, i need your help to cheer her up, please :pray:t2: ]

Deleted.

Has anyone who applied RD received a merit scholarship and the honors college decision notification yet?

My daughter was accepted to LMU on 03/04 and in that acceptance, it noted that notifications for financial aid including scholarships would be announced in early April. She opted not to apply to the honors program so I’m not sure about that.

My son is very interested in story telling in all mediums–LMU has a great rep for that. Additionally, he liked the smaller campus, the ability to get to know his professors given 11:1 student/prof ratio, and LA is a dynamic area to live. He’s not going to pursue the waitlist for LMU however, he’s got other great options. Lots of important/difficult decisions to make!
