<p>I took this fall semester off so I am transferring in as a first year freshmen without any credits, so everything is based off of my high school grades and test scores. if you email the admissions office then somebody should get back to you and then you can just email them directly, that’s what I have been doing:)</p>

<p>MyLMU changed yesterday and I am able to make a commitment deposit, schedule classes, and pay a housing deposit, but I did not receive an email yet. Does this mean I was accepted?? </p>

<p>Has anyone applied as Animation or Film major? Also, what do you guys think is the lowest GPA possible to get accepted with? Congrats on everyone who got accepted! </p>
<p>Gpa is kind of a rough estimate to base on for lmu… 3.0 is the lowest though </p>
<p>Thanks for your response! I was just really worried as I heard that they are more rough on film or animation majors. Also, they recently received my college transcript (Although I sent it two weeks ago), so I might have to wait two more weeks (stress intensifies). </p>
<p>Yeah but I heard they focus more on the stuff you include in your application than your gpa… That major is a talent competition more than a gpa competition… So if you can create within that discipline exhibiting creativity and show an adherence to the classical techniques you’ve leaned im sure you’ll do fine… I hope to see you there :)</p>
<p>My friend told me that they go in alphabetical order for majors. Starting with the A’s obviously and all the way through the alphabet. Not sure if its true but hearing that bio majors and Comm majors have heard would make sense. Ive heard people with 2.8’s get in if you have a good essay or good EC’s. All depends!</p>
