Loyola Marymount University 2022

forum for the class of 2022 and for people who are still waiting to hear back

When do we hear back for regular decisions? I’m really anxious!

Its rolling so they could release more at any time

My daughter is still waiting. Has anyone heard as of late?

i haven’t, i called and thy said their first round went out early february and their next wont go out until mid march

lovely… I guess we will here around the same time the UCs release.

Here’s hoping that they’re just saying that so people don’t bug them too much

Thank you @rocknix. Good luck all! Check back in with us once you guys hear anything.

I’m waiting to hear back as well!

second wave just went out

my S was accepted last night. Disappointed - no scholarship money at all!

Daughter was accepted in the first round in early Feb. I am under the impression that Financial Aid (if any) notification will come separately, but I’m not sure when. Should be by end of March given the May 1 almost universal commit date.

My daughter was accepted on 3/2. She is thrilled. No word on financials yet tho.

@marinay financial aid info comes a few weeks after acceptance. My S was admitted EA in December and we received aid info in late January

I’m still waiting for a decision. I applied RD on the deadline for film production and I’m getting pretty nervous. My stats are a 3.9 unweighted GPA, 1240 SAT and 26 ACT. Has anybody else heard about film decisions?

For those anxious about FA, my family is solidly middle class and we still received an incredibly generous offer from LMU. I’ve heard the school has been generous to many families this admissions cycle, so don’t give up hope!

how much aid did you get?!

@anonymous10101010 My D has similar stats to yours and applied RD for Film Prod, too. Still waiting…tick tock, tick tock…

@walkittalkit216 did you apply EA? Also was it about the same amount or more than the financial aid calculator? (if you used it)

Thought I’d post, because my daughter received a very generous offer as well. I think hers was all merit, though. She got $37,400, plus $2k work study. We were completely blown away. Not sure if my daughter is going, though. It’s between LMU and Pepperdine.
