I'm going in as undecided and got into both honors colleges. I think it's awesome that catholic is right in D.C. but Loyola seems great too. If anyone could help out with my decision I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks!

Pretty cool how you applied to two of the same colleges as me. I got in both of them as well, but catholic university of America gave me terrible finical aid. With a 20k gap at catholic university I definitely would not go there. Loyola gave me really good finical aid. Now I haven’t visited catholic university but my brother told me the part of DC it is in sucks compared to the other colleges in DC. Now Loyola I visited this past Saturday. It was really good. If you care about the dorm rooms being nice Loyola definitely has the best. For girls its the #1 school for dorm rooms. Loyola has a really good Jesuits liberal arts program. Its known around the country and is really good. If your going Undecided Loyola might be good for you trying to find out what you really have a passion in for life, by what the school described. Loyola is Catholic but not to extremes. It was a breath of fresh air for me personally. I don’t know how extreme catholic university of America is.When it comes to the honors program both schools seemed to have a different curriculum that are both good in their own way.

I picked Loyola, personally it was the best for me. On top of that Loyola is better than the catholic university of America by a lot according to the Princeton review. If your going in decided look at the majors Loyola has. They may have something your interested in which you may pursue second year or even second semester freshman year.

But again its all up to you. I would say go the university you can afford and the one you liked the most.

That is pretty funny that we both applied to Catholic and Loyola, and thanks a lot for the input! I’ll def take all of that into consideration, thanks again, I really appreciate it.
