Loyola University Chicago Excel Application

I recently got an email from Loyola University Chicago, saying that I had been selected for the “excel application” (freshman undergraduate admission), which would come with exclusive advantages: no application fee, no essays, an priority scholarship consideration. I looked it up but couldn’t find any information about it, so I not sure whether it is really Loyola Chicago that sent this, and whether this is even a program they have.

You mean this? https://www.luc.edu/cs/financial/excelprogram/ugappform/

I received this as a letter from their admission office. I think you’re supposed to have received a login for the excel app site, so if you did, I think it’s safe to assume it’s legit.

I wanted to submit my application now just to check it off my list, but I haven’t been able to figure out if this app is binding or not, especially since we don’t have to pay a fee… Does it work like an ED app, or is it literally just streamlining the process?
