ACCEPTED WITH $24,000 PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP AHHHH CONGRATS EVERYONE

My son was accepted! Loyola Scholarship ($12k/year). 27 ACT, varsity sports, strong curriculum. He’s thrilled. He loved his visit, and the campus is beautiful.

D was accepted, $24K Presidential scholarship, 29 ACT, 3.9 wGPA - she is really thrilled!!

Accepted!! Really excited - this is my first acceptance :). For those wondering - my stats were 3.7 W gpa and 1450 sat. For those who got deferred, I know how you feel. I was deferred from the first few that I heard back from. It’s not a rejection! I wish everyone the best of luck in march, wherever they end up going

Just got accepted today! Question: is this a very competitive school to get into?

Loyola Maryland is a very good school - classed as moderately difficult to get into, acceptance rate 66% on College Data website. ACT mid 50% range of 25-29 for enrolled freshmen. Collegedata.com

I was accepted with a 28k merit scholarship! (4.4 wGPA, 34 ACT) congrats to everyone who was accepted and best of luck to everyone who was deferred : )

My son got in as well and with a presidential scholarship of 28K. I assume getting the max academic scholarship bodes well for the honors program for those who also got the max. good luck. Its nice to have one under his belt

Our daughter was accepted and we are so excited as we are alums. Already reserved her spot in the class of 2022. For anyone who was deferred, if Loyola is your top choice school, be sure to let them know that is where you will go if you get in and keep in touch with your admissions counselor as you continue through your senior year. All of that helps in their final decision. Congrats to all who got in and best of luck to those who may have been deferred.

Congrats to all of you who’ve been accepted - and especially those with scholarships! D graduated from Loyola and was in the Honors program. It was an amazing 4 years for her!

S was accepted with $20k Presidential Scholarship! 3.4 UWGPA but all Honors & AP course load. and rising this semester while doubling in math and taking AP Calc & AP Physics, 34 ACT, lots of EC, football 4 years, president & founder of a few clubs on campus. So proud!

I was accepted with a $28K Presidential scholarship! I have a 5.44 weighted GPA and a 3.96 weighted GPA, 1490 SAT (740 Reading, 750 Math), graduating four years early, with multiple extra curriculars and honors. I am so thankful to receive this scholarship! Congratulations to everyone who got in, and best of luck!

Thanks for K’s for the info! My D was bummed. Has great volunteer/community service and 3.2 gpa. Although gpa may be a bit low for Loyola she is taking full ib classes. Hoping she can still get in.
