Academic success and extracurricular involvement maybe? I couldn’t tell you for sure @student4592

My son was accepted with the $26k Presidential. He had a 2290 single score, 800 Math 2, 780 Physics. 4.0 unweighted from top public magnet high school, all honors/AP. No class rank. Job 2+ years, lots of ECs including much leadership and community service. Comp Sci major. Now waiting on Honors results, looks promising. (FWIW, Parents attended a different Jesuit school.) Congrats to all who were accepted!

Got accepted today!

Got the package also $21000/yr not enough to make me go there. Its a high tuition for that school compared to others and not at top of my list.

Got the letter. I was accepted with a 12,000/year scholarship, I believe its called the loyola Award

Congratulations! Was this a separate letter or within your admissions letter?

@CAMidwestMom The scholarship info came with my acceptance.

Son’s acceptance arrived yesterday. $23k in merit aid. This is a great scholarship but even with that, compared to the other schools he’s considering, Loyola Maryland is still one of the most expensive. If it is a top contender, we will have to visit to really know for sure if it’s a good fit.

@CAMidwestMom Congrats! And I have the same exact feelings. I’m definitely going to visit again during the accepted students day.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday by the way!

accepted with 20,000/yr scholarship!!
