really, villanova? My bro got in with an ACT equivelant to my SAT

George Washington-in

Wake Forest- its a gamble since Wake is trying to take kids with high SATs to boost their rankings (reach)

Northeastern University-in

Penn State-in

Villanova-in

Boston University-probably in

James Madison-in

Marist-in

Bucknell-slight reach, but probable

sUNY Geneseo-in

u guys think i need more reaches

The only weakness I see is your SAT's. Please consider taking them again. If you manage to get over 2000 or even a 2100, then you can probably add some more reaches and feel comfortable applying to all the schools you've listed.

i took them twice tho, u think a third time would be bad?

buump.........

before you go for number three, get a few practice books and look over them. also, take a few practice tests and see where you are. if you think you can improve, go ahead and take them again. consider taking SAT IIs and applying to higher reaches

any other opinions??

cooome on sum more suggestions/opinions

That's not true about Wake--if they wanted to, they could fill a class full of 1400's, they want individuals not number :</p>

so wut do u think my chance at wake is will?

I still think it's a slight reach, because your SAT's are still a bit off, your other stats are great, so I think you'd probably get waitlisted, at least but you'd be a really competitive applicant b/c of your EC's/tough courseload.

arent they in the middle 50% though? i think thats what i read

They are near the bottom of the middle 50%, the middle of the 50 is about 1320, and the high end is about 1380-1400.

im gonna try to pull it up to 2000, hopefully that will help me out

don't worry about the writing, they really only care about the math/verbal, a good writing score can't hurt, but it won't make you.

yea math i should be doin better on, hopefully it will go up, thanks for the advice...but u think the rest of my app is what they r looking for?
