Much apologies for seeming like a grade grubber, but the return of midterm grades has led me to ask a grading question here. The reason I am asking is because I am gauging to see how much more studying I need put into the remainder of the class in order to earn the next higher grade, or if I should just concentrate on other courses.

For those who have past experience with Esdin's class: Does he hand out final grades pretty much as one would expect on a straight scale (90-100 as the A- to A, etc), or should I go with a 15% of the class gets As, the next percentage Bs, etc?

Note: The class average for the two midterms is around 70% right now, and I am guessing people are getting about 90%+ in lab, with 288 students in the class (I know, it's huge).

Thank you for taking the time to read/reply to this last minute question.
