If I take LS1, Chem 14B, and Stats for winter quarter, would the workload be too much? I heard LS1 is generally easier than LS2-4...but anyone done this before or have some advicce? How bout taking 14BL as well?

I would like to know as well.

Also, what are everyones thoughts on taking 14B and its lab in the same quarter?

LS1 is not difficult at all…I took it with Hespenheide: not sure if he still teaches, though. If you have a good foundation in chem, 14B + LS1 should be no problem. Taking 14B with 14BL is unpleasant, but doable. The lab is more work than most classes, just because of the write-ups and random online assignments, but since 14B and LS1 don’t really have homework, it shouldn’t be too much for the same quarter. Of course, it really depends on how much science you can stand in a quarter! :)

all about time management. very doable, esp. with just stats.

howabout ls1 and 14bl with econ 11?

shut up premeds, engineers take 4 science classes at a time (HARDER ones than chem 14) and do well. there is nothing challenging about ls1 and chem 14b.

if you wanted to take 1 science a quarter you’ll go to med school in 20 years.

^hehe 10char

seriously, physics 1A/B/C with corbin is WAY harder than ls1 and chem 14b with any professor. actually, the physics 1 series in general moves at a faster pace than the lower division ls and chem classes since there are 4 hours of lecture each week.
