LSA...Chances, Please

I already posted this on the main What are My chances? area, but I didn't get much of a response. Wondering if some of you could look at this and give me your opinions. I am an Indian (asia) and out of state as well looking to apply for economics in the LSA school at Michigan. I realize my stats are low, but if I apply early do I have a decent shot? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yes, i think you have a decent shot..... but don't say " National Honor Roll, National society of high school scholars, Who's Who" on your application- they mean nothing, and national honor roll is a scam

thanks, I figured these things were a little sketchy, especially when they make you pay for a certificate, which I never did.

Does anybody know if it would be beter to improve my SAT scores(hopefully a 2100) and apply in November/December or apply Sept/Oct as is?

Michigan does not consider the writing part, and you have a 1320 otherwise, which is in Michigan's range. I know a fair amount of out of state kids who got in with that. Your grades are solid also-just apply early and you'll be fine.

sweet.. Thanks for the reply nirvanarageatm
