LSA scholarships

From Umich LSA website: College of Literature, Science, and the Arts : Students

"Notification: Scholarship offers will be made the first week of February, March, and April, respectively."

Anybody has been notified about LSA scholarships?

I’m interested in this too.

My daughter, who is a current UM student, received an LSA scholarship and was notified in April. Her friend, who received same scholarship was notified in March. So when they say Feb, Mar and April, they mean just that. My younger daughter, who was accepted to UM last year but declined acceptance also received a scholarship and she was notifed on March 3rd last year.

^Bayley, do you know if the larger scholarships are given out earlier than the smaller ones? What was the value of the scholarship you daughter received in April? My situation is very odd, and I won’t be eligible or scholarships until April (if they ONLY send out offers in the first week of each month), so I’m worried that I’ll miss out on larger ones.

I am not sure if the larger ones are given out earlier. My daughter received the LSA Stamps Scholarship in the amount of $20K per year for four years. She did not apply for this scholarship. My younger daughter applied for and received the Geisinger Scholarship for Engineering in the amount of $20K per year. I think it all depends on the scholarship as to when notification is given.

I got a 20k (5k per year) LSA scholarship at the beginning of January (accepted EA). Didn’t have to do anything to apply and I’m OOS.

I got Regents for a one-time $1500 scholarship in like the last week of Janurary if that counts.

@bayley, awesome! I’ll stay hopeful and see if I can get the same come April!
