Sorry if this has been asked before, but my online application status lists me as an LSA Undeclared. I put CS as my area of interest (and I intend to major in CS) on the common app when I applied. Could someone explain this to me in a sentence or two? I’ve heard from other people at my school who applied that you don’t really start on the CS track until after you’ve taken a bunch of required freshman classes, but I’m not sure if that’s true.
All LSA applicants - regardless of whether they indicated a proposed major on their application - will say “LSA-Undeclared” on their New & Prospective Student Business Portal on Wolverine Access. Students officially choose their major in LSA during sophomore year.

Well I mean you don’t have a major until you declare. Until you declare you are “undeclared”. I believe that is the reason why.
Thanks guys
