LSAT and law school

Is doing well on the LSAT an indication of how you do in law school? I know that the reading in law school is very focused and analytical and I'm wondering if there's any way to get a sense of what it's like.

Yes, success on the LSAT is a good indication of success in law school. A better indicator of success in law school is the row in which you sit during class.

The LSAT is a very imperfect predictor of performance. If you want to know what law school is like, then sit in on a class. Otherwise, read legal commentary. Don't start off with law review articles, unless you're a masochist. Read the Findlaw Writ articles to get a sense of what law school will teach you. Get some books about law school; most of them have a section on how the law works and what you are supposed to learn and how you're supposed to think.
