<p>Books: Powerscore and LSAC
Courses: Powerscore and Testmasters is what I hear. Although I am self-studying now, I may do 5 hours of private tutoring with Powerscore.</p>
<p>I'll say this from experience: Kaplan is horrible. I don't like their program at all. It's just rote learning of the types of problems that LSAT throws at you. You aren't ever SURE of how you are doing on the exams until you are finished.</p>
<p>Contrast that with a private tutor that I took on the advice of a friend. Her name is Sharon Wead (no, Im not kidding). She's in the phone book in Riviera Beach, Florida (I think). I highly suggest calling her and setting up appointments over the phone.</p>
<p>Here's an example of why: With Kaplan my score changed 2 points. I was dissappointed in this since I had worked extremely hard at it. After I met with Sharon for a few weeks over the phone (I was in Tallahassee at the time) my score rocketed up over 20 points (I scored in the 170 range).</p>
