LSE then US MA in IR?

I'm interested in careers in international relations (IR undergrad at JHU) and eventually something along the lines of international business. I'm looking at grad school programs now, and was wondering whether or not a degree from LSE in IR or Political Economy(1 year program) would provide a good foundation for schools like SAIS, SIPA, SFS, or Fletcher, which are more professionally oriented than the academic programs at LSE. Would these two degrees (resulting in some combination of international economics, political economy, and security studies) merely be redundant?

Thanks in advance

I think you would be fine.

I am applying to the Euro Politics, as well as the European Political Economy programs at LSE, and I don’t think I will go into academia.

I know many people who hold these degrees and have gone the professional route, not the academic route.
