LSE vs. American Schools for MSc HR

<p>I know that Cornell is number one for industrial labor relations in the US, but I am having trouble finding rankings for LSE. I have been accepted to LSE and looking into Cornell. </p>

<p>I am an American citizen, but want to work in the UK for a HR consulting firm. Any advice on how employers view LSE in this field or comparison between the programs or how it ranks overall would be great.</p>

<p>Ive become more and more convinced that you should go to grad school in the country where you intend to work, unless youre planning on attending a world famous program. Employers are often veyr biased towards schools in their own region or country which means that even a degree from a place like Cornell might not carry the same cach</p>

<p>I totally agree with jimleadpipe. Even the employers in the US discriminate between schools in their state/metro area and schools that are in different states. It all really depends, but what is certain is that they’ll definitely discriminate.</p>
