LSP to Stern is possible

UC Events

Look at the Wed, March 25 event summary. It's obviously difficult, but looks like it happens.

I might be wrong but it says the audience is sophomores which implies that the LSP students they are referring to were admitted 2 years ago, which is right about the time they supposedly stopped putting Stern applicants in LSP. I don’t think this means that Stern applicants can be put in LSP this year or last year.

Just a thought…could be wrong.

yeah, they’re grandfathered into the system. i don’t think this is possible anymore.

if anyone is looking at this post for Stern -> LSP stuff, the best thing to do is just CALL undergraduate admissions and ask for the LSP coordinator. just get the real answer.

I was perusing through the NYU Admissions Forums, and some person asked about LSP to Stern. admissions says that LSP to Stern is possible. It’s hard, and there are requirements like having a 3.75 GPA as well as taking classes, but again, possible.

Take a look

It is not only possible, but guaranteed.

I think what the forum moderator meant was that after you leave LSP for CAs or whatever after 2 years, you can try and transfer into Stern from that college.

unareina,

allenbshen is right. I think the moderator meant that after you go from LSP to CAS, you can apply as an internal transfer to Stern from CAS.

I’ve also read that an internal transfer to Stern is very difficult to do.
