LSU Dorms

Anyone have suggestions? Which ones are the nicest and most active? Thanks

I think we're going down for a visit on 12/10. We visited in the summer but didn't stick around for the afternoon dorm tour. If you don't get an answer before then (and if we actually go), I'll get you some kind of an answer afterwards.

my sister goes to lsu... I can ask her about the dorms if you would like

Yea, both of those would be very very helpfull.

ok i just facebooked her so i should have some answers for you by later tonight

heres what my sis told me:

"most guys stay in Kirby-Smith. They aren't the nicest but it's an all guy dorm and its huge (looks like a large office building from the outside). Other nice ones are Broussard...which is the only carpeted dorm and Annie Boyd and Highland- all are unisex....Annie Boyd and Highland are to the left and right of my dorm (all girl) and they have nice, spacious living arrangements...that's about all."

ok, thanks a ton. I really appreciate it. Hopefully if an when I get accepted...I'll look into it even more. Their website isn't as helpfull as I'd like it to be.

umm... just a point of warning, to like lsu u have to be a lsu person. I personally hate the place but with my sister it was the only school she even applied to. She is ok with it but it is nowhere near what she expected and if you are a minority then ill warn you that the minority relationships down there have been strained lately. My sister told me that some white kids actually spit on her at a tailgater... but she is a southern kid raised in TN and im a northern kid raised in central IN so we are quite a bit different
