<p>fyi, A report from the front lines....New freshman daughter was very heartened and impressed with the large amount of comments and feedback on her first paper. She never got that level of detail in HS, so she actually liked it -- she wants to improve her writing.</p>
<p>This is an indication of 'walking the talk' of 'attentive professors' that one hears as a prospective LU student.</p>
<p>I haven't had to raise a finger as a parent since I sent my son off to college. It is really nice.</p>
<p>It might be worth noting that if this was for a regular course, they have been going on less than a week, and if it was for Freshman Studies, it has been going for 8 days. (All this is as of today.)(Lawrence classes don't start until mid-late September.)</p>
