Lucid Dreaming

Ok, I'm not sure if it's called lucid dreaming, but I've been in situations before, when I feel like I can control my own dreams..like sometimes, I wake up in the middle of a dream, then I fall back asleep, and continue dreaming, but I'm like half-awake too..so I kinda control my dream and can do pretty much whatever I want..it never lasts long cause I always have to wake up to something at the end..has anyone had this experience before?

Also, when I was little, I used to dream that I was going to the bathroom to pee, so I did, but once I started peeing I woke up and realized I was peeing in my bed!! Lol! Anyone know why this would occur?

Just curious lol..dreaming is interesting..

Google is an amazing tool.

You should test it out. :)

hahahahaha I also experienced the dreaming to go to the bathroom and actually peeing in my bed phenomenon haha

Yep, quite a bit, though I can never tell in retrospect if my dream-me was really my present me and not merely a model of me.

I’ve had quite a number of omnipotence dreams though, but yet again I’m unsure of whether I actually acted within the dream or observed a model of myself acting within the dream.

Oh, I usually recognize that I’m dreaming most of the time though, or my dream-model does anyway. I have (usually multiple) dreams and remember them every single night, and most of the time “I” think to myself within the dream to write them down (or type them to send to IV, as I’ve been doing of late), or try to determine what needs to be done when I awake, or reminisce about the events of the preceding day, and so on and so forth.

Many times, though, “I” see that “I”'m dreaming and don’t bother with trying to change anything and just kick back and enjoy the ride.

never, but then again i rarely remember my dreams. with discussions with my male and female friends about this, i find that mostly only my male friends have the “ability” to do this.

Our subconsciouses are quite brilliant; it’s really quite insane, you know.

Haha, also one very important thing I forgot to mention! Have any of you experienced something in real life, which happened in your dream that you had before? I guess it’s like de ja vu, cept it was in a dream you had, not something you already did before…

that de ja vu from a dream thing happens to me all of the time. except it’s strange, because i will have the dream and then see the exact same thing that i saw in the dream a few years later. i’m surprised i remember it haha.

^ Yea, me too! It’s so weird, I wonder if there is anyone who can explain this phenomenon.

ok… weird like seclude said try google. i so wanna control my dreams but i wanna be asleep fully not half

well, guys…i have something interesting to share:

I had applied to 3 schools early action: caltech, Uchicago, and MIT

Just few days before I found out my decision from caltech, I had dreamed of my decision, which just happened when I got out of my bed, logged on to my computer to check my email from caltech…and when I opened it, it flashed out a HUGE, RED “REJECTED” all over my computer screen. At that, I fainted into blackness…and the scene repeated itself again…but this time it was checking my decision for MIT…and the first line of the letter were nearly similar to my actual MIT’s letter of acceptance!!!

Few days after that dream, I dreamed again…except this time it is for uchicago. It said I was deferred.

Then, on friday, I got my decision from caltech from mail…it said I was deferred. On monday, dec 15, I was exactly deferred from uchicago and accepted into MIT!!!

can anyone explain this? lol. It looks like i have 66% accuracy with those college decisions in my dreams. lol. No, I’ve never had this kind of dreams where I foresee the future before. lol.

now, I wonder if I could do the same for Harvard, Stanford, and all other schools in the coming months? Probably not until just few days before the decisions come out?

^^once i met a guy in my dream and met him the next week, sorta similar to your dreaming the future…

also, once i had a dream where i was blind, or, my vision was extremely blurry. I woke up, realized it was a dream, and then went back to sleep, the dream continued, but i could see

^^ Once I had a dream about a math test score. In my dream, I got a 58. I woke up and thought “Man, no way I got a 58 on that math test. Psh…” Then I went to school, got my test back, and got a 58. Yeah…

I also had a dream about a chem test once. I got a bad grade on that test in my dream (I couldn’t remember what exactly it was, but it was a bad score). Then couple days later, I got my test back, and the grade was more than 20 points lower than my other tests in that class.

I have experienced lucid dreaming once. A guy that I know and myself were in a car driving down the interstate (speed limit of 70mph). He opened the door and tried pushing me out. That is when I knew it was a dream so I was like aww hell no and pushed him out instead. Then I woke up with a fright.
