Lums help!

Hey guys. I'm sure a lot of you guys are students at LUMS or got accepted when you applied. I want first hand advice because you guys have been through the process and I'm not sure if I should even give it a shot next year. I need to decide during the summer so I can plan accordingly. I am to start university next summer iA.

In O Level, I had 7A*s and 1 A. I was not too involved in ECAs.
In AS, during the school year, I maintained a 3.25/4.00 GPA and have given my AS exams. I just gave CIE exams, but they didn't go too well. I'll probably get Bs and Cs. I have math, physics, psychology and world history.

I am to give the SAT in October and will give the LCAT as well for Social Sciences.

I was wondering: is it worth applying if I have only average grades? Will they even consider me? What do they look at? Is it enough to pass the LCAT or do we need a lot ECA hours? Is it easier to get into SSE at LUMS?
People say its really hard to get in which is why I'm thinking I won't even give it a shot then. Please help.

I think there’s no harm in giving a shot at it. I don’t know much about LUMS admissions but I know that you don’t want to be looking back, thinking that you ‘might have’ gotten in…
Just my 2 cents…

@muslimgirl Lums mainly considers your o level grades and if you have 8As or more then consider yourself in. A/AS Level doesnt matters at all for LUMS. SSE is easy to get in if you have 8As. I know people who have totally messed up in a levels but have 8 As or more in o levels and have got in. The conditional offer for A level is BBC so its mainly your O level grades. However if you are intending to apply to UK then you need good A level grades. For getting into a good US university you need to have a perfect profile overall. ECs really matter for US.
