Luther college or Beloit college?

Anyone can tell me which one to choose?

anyone please helps!!!

What are your interests? What do you see as the pros and cons of each? Tell us a little more about you and you should get a more informed response. Lots of people on these boards are familiar with Beloit, perhaps fewer with Luther.

well. i am interested in economics and computer science. Luther give me more aid actually. but beloit seems suits me better....but the financial problem.........

Luther is a fine school but not as well known as Beloit. Luther is larger at around 3000 students I believe. Beloit is a very liberal campus, Luther more conservative. I assume you have visited both? I cannot comment on the strenght of those departments at either school.

I am familiar with the econ profs and courses at Beloit and they are very good. Sorry I don't know anything about computer science. You can visit both schools again and find out specifics about their programs. As for aid, sometimes you can bargain for some more aid if that is what is holding you back. Good luck.

Thank u shennie,
thank u lalady.
I haven't visited any of them now till now. And I don't think it's available to me.
as for finding work after graduation, which one has an advantage?
And do employers usually employ those from famous college?

Beloit will have more name recognition, but if you apply for jobs out of the midwest, I don't know if will make that much difference. If you get good grades and have some internships, or work experience to back you up I don't think it will matter which school you go to. But if prestige is important to you, Beloit is better known and would be considered more prestigious.

I do believe you have to visit Beloit to appreciate it best qualities. It is such friendly open inclusive community but it is also has a mile streak of being different and proud of it ;) Since it is small LAC there is not much to do if you will not fit it. I have no knowledge of Luther college.

Beloit. (10 characters)

;) I think you already know my answer, Libra_sky.

yeah, i decided to go to beloit!

Thanx a lot everyone for ur help!!!
