I wouldn't trust her to do it. I mean, hell, she lied the first time around; what will keep her from lying now?

Contact Stanford, then they will take care of it and you will remain anonymous.

IF you misrepresent yourself on your application in any form it can and will be conditions to have yoru admissions rescinded even having your degree rescinded after graduation leaving you with a worthless piece of paper. remember you sign your application stating that the information you put in it is true.

I know a student who was recently kicked out of the graduate program because she applied and was admitted as a hispanic and then wanted to change her profile to reflect that she was actually white.

"I know a student who was recently kicked out of the graduate program because she applied and was admitted as a hispanic and then wanted to change her profile to reflect that she was actually white."

Presumably you mean that she wanted her profile to reflect that she's "actually white nonHispanic."

For one thing, it's not going to make much of a differenc between Stanford and another good school...people overemphasize the importance of which undergrad school they attend...go to the school which FITS YOU...NOT WHO YOU CREATED. People fail in ALL schools...if you're going to go low enough to LIE about yourself just to get into a school, do you really think the school is for you?...this also applies to people who start bs clubs and stuff just to get into touch schools. If you're not right for a school, you'll either be miserable or you will be crushed by the competition.

I don't mean to be cruel or anything, and its good that you haven't done it (considering is ok, but don't do it)...I'm just stating the often-forgotten obvious. Your application resembles you...colleges pick people who are right for the college. Let your college find you, don't use bait to catch them.

Yes, thanks for the clarification
