"Lying" about your intended major.

<p>Well, see I look at my situation like this. </p>

<p>I don't really know what I want to do or what I want to major in. So i suppose the sciences are a possibility, but I doubt it. </p>

<p>I basically look at the application and look at the intended major section and have no idea what to write. I could write undecided, but I've heard that colleges usually like to see some interest. So then when I look back at my extracurriculrs and courses, and summer programs, they all point to a field in the sciences. Therefore, it's not so much that science is an underrepresented field, which I realize its not. It's just looking at my application, there is no question that the strength of my sciences stands out, over any other subject.</p>

<p>that sounds like affirmative action to me! Without the lies ofcourse.</p>

<p>I agree with Leah, you should interview URMs, Athletes, and Legacies and find out.</p>
