I’m not really dolorous :(

I’m (somewhat of) a karaoke machine. Figuratively.

Well I’ve been almost there for a while now so I guess I’m kind of lying to myself because if I haven’t gotten there by now I’m probably never going to get there.

While I think that it’s completely possible for people to lie on CC, I honestly don’t believe that that’s what the majority of people do. I don’t think that it’s at all far fetched that the mass of CCers really are just the overachieving students who come on this college-centric site to talk among peers and get a legitimate scope of where they stand with admissions.

Lie- I have NO hope for DC. I go over my Georgetown “phase” ,awhile ago.

Truth: I can fly. Really.

^lie. :(

Pro necro dude

CC has three groups of people.

The genuinely brilliant people, whether they brag or not. They are quite smart or at least well above average.

The average kids who want to become smarter and so love CC as a resource and an influence where they can learn from others.

The average kids who are bitter at everyone else and so either lie or ■■■■■.

Some people aren’t even confined to just one group.

^ I’m definitely a mix of 1 and 2.

@josh: So it appears no one is sub-average here?

Nonetheless, 2 is very true, CC really does provide a lot. :)

I don’t label myself as a genius…rather…a peculiar man who often takes the path less traveled and enjoys the scenery. I feel that labels such as “Genius,” are rather arbitrary…

Number one fo sho.

Everyone on CC is above average. I think some of you guys are out of touch with reality if you think anyone here is average or below average, and I think you’re just plain stupid if you think those people care enough that you’re smart on CC or in real life that they want to impress you by lying.

The lowest self-reported score I’ve seen on here is a 21 ACT. Such a score is slightly above the national average, and the person was freaking out about it. I’ve probably seen less than 10 total, composite ACT scores below 30 on this site.

It’s a site for not only the college-bound, but for the kids that actually care about the nuances of college itself. It may come as a surprise to you that there are 36er’s who actually don’t care that much.

“Average students” who are jealous and want to ■■■■■? You can’t be serious. Your 4.0 don’t make ya a superhero, honey. The real world doesn’t care that much. People get on with their lives no matter how self-glorifying or “smart” you are.

Ask the average CCer if they’d rather get into Harvard or win the Super Bowl and you already know the response. Ask the average American and I think you’d be surprised by the answers you receive. No, there aren’t droves of ■■■■■■ coming on here to lie and impress you. Rather, there’s a bunch of smart kids who are trying too hard to impress one-another and you’re all too stupid to realize that you’re a part of it. /end rant

I honestly think its stupid to lie about your stats. I’m not ashamed to post my low SAT or ACT score in a chance thread. Personally, I’d rather post my real stats (which I have) and receive advice in terms what I should work on. I’ve been a member on CC for a few months now and I’ve learned a ton of stuff and received some great advice from others simply by telling the truth.

Did you really expect everyone on this forum to be honest?

Yeah I don’t get it either its not like they have something to prove to us. We don’t even know them in real life. I tell the truth

@LoseYourself

I didn’t expect that at all, when did I ever say that? Obviously everyone doesn’t tell the truth all the time.

^^

ZombieDante, no you don’t. :D

One word

■■■■■■

:D

People who work towards building H-Bombs they can drop onto us poor peasants, have nothing else to look forward to in life.
