Lying.

Does everyone exaggerate/lie about their sexual encouters in colleges?
We were playing "never have I ever" and one of my friends (whom I know to be a virgin) made up some story about a threesome which I know isn't true... it was a good story but I was just uneased by how casually he made it up (when we were talking about it alone before this incident he said he was a virgin).

No. Your friend is insecure and an idiot.

Either what Knavish said or he was just trying to make the game more interesting.

...but probably what Knavish said.

He is so insecure. He could have just said he had had sex and left it at that, if he had to lie in the 1st place. Forget about it though, but if he does lie that easily over things, eventually he will be caught and be humiliated.

many people lie about sexual encounters....yep and those that callnames to others probably have as well

so he lied, who cares, why are college kids playing middle school games like this anyway

It doesn't have to be a middle school game. If done well (i.e. not all about sexual acts the players have engaged in, for starters), it and similar games can be a bonding thing.

Hah. I refrain from playing I Never because I feel bad that I could knock everyone else out of the game in one fell swoop should I be open (and honest) about my I Nevers. Also, because no one would believe me and I would surely be accused of cheating.

It's totally lame to actively lie about things though. If I really don't want people to know what I have or haven't done, I keep it to myself. I don't lie in order to make it sound better.

And citygirlsmom- I Never is a very common drinking game and I think would be more often associated with drunken college gatherings than middle school. Although I do recall people playing dry (and much tamer) versions of the game once or twice back then.

i hate that game... people lie in high school all the time butin college less..

You always follow the first lie up with another lie..havn't you ever listened to Dane Cook? :)
